There’s a famous saying which reads: ‘The proof is in the pudding’. But in today’s technology-driven society, this seems to have been thrown out of the window. In fact, I’d go as far as saying that, for our generation, this motto SHOULD read: ‘The proof is in the Facebook page’.Since its inception in 2005, Facebook has not only become a global giant, but also an integral part of our daily routine that most of us can’t live without. Last week, it was confirmed that half the British population now have a Facebook profile and hardly an hour goes by when we don’t update our status, upload a picture or check-in to our local pub.But the power of Facebook goes beyond its user-friendly design. It lies in its ability to get us to share our most private thoughts and details in public.
